Summer Campout 2024
Mark your calendars for the end of the year summer campout on July 12th, 13th, and 14th at Hawkeye Campground, Wallace ID.
Saturday evening dinner will be a potluck with the club providing the meat. Please plan on bringing a side dish.
Please register for this event so we can have a headcount for the meat purchase.

Directions are below:
Heading east from Coeur d'Alene, take exit 43(Kingston). Turn left on the freeway overpass and continue on the Coeur d'Alene River Rd approximately 22.9 miles. At the Y by the G & G Riverstop (gas and convenience store), stay left.
After passing the Prichard turnoff, you will continue on the Coeur d'Alene River road (NF-208), approximately 6.1 miles. Turn right on Shoshone Creek road. Shoshone Creek road is just before the bridge by the old Shoshone Work Center which is now the Shoshone Mountain Retreat and Ranch.
Continue approximately 5.4 miles on Shoshone Creek Rd.
****Important****
Watch for an orange cone on the edge of the road along the way and spray paint on the road. There is a large dip that you need to go through slowly and a smaller dip after that. The camping area will be on the right just past Haystack Rd. It is a big open field with a vault toilet.

There is a Forest Service dump station by the Shoshone Mountain Retreat and Ranch.
