2023 Summer Campout



Mark your calendars for the summer campout July 7th, 8th, and 9th at Hawkeye Campground, Wallace ID

Directions:
Heading east from Coeur d'Alene, take exit 43(Kingston). Turn left on the freeway overpass and continue on the CDA river road(NF-9) approximately 22.9 miles. At the Y by the G & G Riverstop(gas and convenience store), stay left.
After passing the Prichard turnoff, you will continue on the Coeur d'Alene river road(NF-NF208).approx 6.1 miles. Turn right on Shoshone creek road(NF412). It is just before the bridge before the old Shoshone Work Center which is now the Lutherhaven-Shoshone MT retreat.
Continue approximately 5.4 miles on Shoshone creek Rd. The camping area will be on the right just past Haystack road. It is a big open field with a vault toilet.

There is a forrest Service dump station at the old Shoshone Work Center.
